An Overview of United States Federal Agricultural Policy With Regard to the Non-Metro Community
This paper is designed to give the reader a broad view of literature that discusses impacts of Federal non-metro policy. The paper explains Federal non-metro policy, and then explores the scope of a non-metro area. For the purpose of this paper, the definition of a non-metro area will be defined as any area not contained within a metro region. Finally, the paper will look at specific sectors impacted by Federal non-metro policy and where literary sources are available. The paper will contrast metro and nonmetro Federal policy. Below is a discussion of the published materials that attempts to persuade National policymakers that the changes they have taken thus far should be encouraged and expanded.
